Greensboro Hoppers?

Anyone notice that the paper has already started calling the team just 'hoppers? Is this merely a friendly nickname, or another sign that the name does kind of stink?

As I said before, I don't really care. If calling the team "Grasshoppers" works for them, so be it. Truth be told I am such a pragmatic by nature that if they called the team the Bellemeade Avenues, I would not care as long as it worked.

Guess it is for the court of Public Opinion to decide.

Ah, what the heck, I am just going to come out and say it: That color Green and Orange just are not a great color combination unless you are the Miami Hurricanes.
